P1775-11 Pressure control solenoid 2 (EDS 2) uncontrolled: short-circuit to ground Overview: ISO Code P1775-11 Customer Symptom • Transmission fault lamp ON • Gear shift is disable • Creep function is disable • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Transmission fault lamp ON • Gear shift is disable • Creep function is disable • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x1 Fault Detection Condition internal TCU error Pressure control solenoid 2 connected to ground. (FFT 0ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detected in any error Probable Trouble Area 1. Transmission wiring loom for any damage. 2. Hydraulic unit & transmission oil. 3. TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart if the detection is FALSE for more than 0 ms Component Details: Clutch actuator 1 & 2 mounted in hydraulic control unit and makes internal electrical contact with the TCU. • EDS 2 = Clutch 2 (“Clutch”) cooling flow solenoid .Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between Electro valve and TCU. 2) Loose/ Damaged mechanical fitments of TCU (TCU to valve body mounting). 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check the transmission wiring loom for any damage. Is there any rust/oxidation/pin back out observed on TCU PIN 25 (EDS 2 = Clutch 2/"clutch" Cooling Solenoid) in transmission side TCU 28 pole connector? If damaged, replace the wiring loom. Go to step 2 2. If problem persists, replace the hydraulic unit (EDS 2 = Clutch 2/"clutch" Cooling Solenoid) & transmission oil. Perform all necessary transmission adaptions. Go to step 3 3. Replace the TCU if the problem persists & flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC • Resistance Check
