P180A-F6 EOL clutch adaption: CTC adaption not done Overview: ISO Code P180A-F6 Customer Symptom • Limited vehicle speed 50kph • Transmission fault lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Limited vehicle speed 50kph • Transmission fault lamp ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON (Service indication 0x2) Fault Detection Condition This fault gets detected after Ignition On if TCU detects that the CPC adaption procedure has not been done or not successfully completed Normal Operating Condition CPC adaption procedure is successfully completed at End of line or after service part replacements (refers service manual) that require such procedure. Probable Trouble Area Wrong execution conditions/Wiring Harness Connections / TCU Healing Condition when condition is inactive for 100ms Component Details: Transmission CTC adaption procedure is run through a diagnostic tool at supplier production line. Clutch and brake’s actuation kiss point and preload is determined and stored on the TCU EEPROM memory. Preliminary Checks: 5) Before proceeding with rectification, ensure no other DTC in TCU except from a set of – P180A-F4, P180AF5,P180A-F6. If there are any other DTC’s they must be rectified first. 6) Before re-initiating the procedure check the following conditions: Q) Vehicle should be standstill and GSL in PARK MODE (P). R) Brake pedal should be 100% pressed. S) Air Conditioner (AC) should be OFF. T) Critical DTC reaction should not be active. U) Transmission oil temperature should be in the range 30-90 Deg C V) Engine speed range 800-1500 Approx. W) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connector X) Visibly check for any damage to electro valves/oil leakage/other kit components.
