P1845-4A Pressure sensor 2 ID mismatch Overview: ISO Code P1845-4A Customer Symptom • Transmission lamp ON • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Transmission lamp ON • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled. Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x1 Fault Detection Condition sensor ID doesnt match required sesnor ID (FFT = 0ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detect any fault Probable Trouble Area 1. TCU. 2. HCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart Component Details: The Pressure sensor used in control circuit of each clutch.clutch actuation model enables the actuation of the clutches via pressure, in order toprecisely control the torque transferred by them. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged mechanical fitments of TCU (TCU to valve body mounting). 2) Check for any visible damage to TCU. 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 Was the TCU replaced or new software put on TCU? Check it is recent software. Flash latest software. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2 Was the HCU replaced? Make sure to flash latest software on TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. • Resistance Check ➢ Disconnect transmission side 28 pole connector(X-201) and check below resistance at (X-201) connector terminal
