P2727-64 Clutch actuation line pressure adaption failure Overview: ISO Code P2727-64 Customer Symptom • Transmission fault lamp ON • creep function disabled + • Mileage based reaction after 100 km • AMT shifts- drivability affected • Limp home request to ECU Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Transmission fault lamp ON • creep function disabled + • Mileage based reaction after 100 km • AMT shifts- drivability affected • Limp home request to ECU Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x2 Fault Detection Condition adaption failed (FFT = 500ms) Normal Operating Condition Clutch actuation adaptation Procedure is successfully completed at End of line or after service part replacements(refer service manual) that require such procedure. Probable Trouble Area 1. HCU. 2. TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart and driving if the detection is FALSE for more than 1000 ms Component Details: The clutch and brake require an adaption procedure where the clutch and brake’s actuation kiss point and preload is determined and stored on the TCU EEPROM memory. This procedure runs mainly on the TCU, after giving the specific CPC adaption request. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between solenoid and TCU. 2) Loose/ Damaged mechanical fitments of TCU (TCU to valve body mounting). 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. 4) Before re-initiating the procedure of clutch adaptation check the following conditions: a) Vehicle should be standstill and GSL in PARK MODE (P). b) Brake pedal should be 100% pressed. c) Air Conditionar (AC) should be OFF d) Critical DTC reaction should not be active. e) Healthy battery f) Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connector. . Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 If but DTC persists, replace HCU + perform adaption procedure for new HCU (Task = define how to do this in after sales). Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2
