P3002-00 Invalid production data Overview: ISO Code P3002-00 Customer Symptom • Transmission fault lamp ON • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled • Creep function is disabled Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Transmission fault lamp ON • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled • Creep function is disabled Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x1 Fault Detection Condition Internal TCU error (FFT = 0 ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detect any fault Probable Trouble Area 1. TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart if the detection is FALSE for more than 0 ms Component Details: The Problem may occur due to an internal damage to TCU. Preliminary Checks: 1. Battery voltage 2. Check for damage or back out of pins at TCU connectors. 3. Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis (tightness, corrosion of mounting bolts etc.) Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 Check with different TCU if the problem persists (flash the adaption data from the original TCU). If DTC stays away with different TCU; replace TCU, Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, clear all DTC’s and ensure the following points by referring TCU parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. • Drive the vehicle through all gears in both Automatic and Manual modes. • Ensure no DTC is active and Transmission Fault Lamp is OFF.
