'get vehicle checked' • Transmission fault lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Warning message. 'get vehicle checked' • Transmission fault lamp ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission fault lamp ON Service indication 0x2 Fault Detection Condition solenoid current target not reached (FFT = 1000ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detect any fault Probable Trouble Area 1. Battery voltage (VBAT_Value_mV) and current target (osc_I_clu2ActrTgt). 2. TCU. 3. HCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart and driving if the detection is FALSE for more than 1000 ms Component Details: The Clutch actuator 1 & 2 mounted in hydraulic control unit and makes internal electrical contact with the TCU. • EDS 4 = Clutch 1 (“Brake”) cooling flow solenoid Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between solenoid and TCU. 2) Loose/ Damaged mechanical fitments of TCU (TCU to valve body mounting). 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 Check battery voltage (VBAT_Value_mV) and current target (osc_I_clu2ActrTgt) versus measured current (cin_I_clu2Meas) in freezeframe. If battery voltage below 8V, check battery/power supply/connectors to TCU/Cable harness Go to step 2 2 Replace the TCU if the problem persists & flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 3 Replace the HCU if the problem persists & flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. • Resistance Check Solenoids, Pressure sensors mounted on HCU should be checked for resistance if there is DTC triggered. Below table reflects the signals for each solenoid and pressure sensor and range of acceptable resistance.
