P3105-64 Multiple Clutch Speeds Implausible Overview: ISO Code P3105-64 Customer Symptom • Critical malfunction. Power train is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled. • Transmission Fault Lamp ON • Creeping function is disabled Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Critical malfunction. Power train is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- Gearshift is disabled. • Transmission Fault Lamp ON • Creeping function is disabled Lamp Status (If Any) • Transmission Fault Lamp ON (Service indication 0x1) Fault Detection Condition inner and outer primary shaft speed mismatch for > 500ms Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detect any fault. Probable Trouble Area 1. Transmission wiring loom (Speed sensor). 2. Speed sensors. 3. TCU. 4. Oil filter and HCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart Component Details: The Speed sensor - pump shaft, Speed sensor - inner shaft(Clutch 2 speed), Speed sensor - outer shaft(clutch speed 1) used in clutch actuation module in order to precisely control the torque transferred by both clutches. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between Sensor and TCU. 2) Visually check sensor mounting& Air gap, proper tightening of mounting screws and any visible damage. 3) Check for damage or back out of pins at Clutch speed sensor connector and TCU connector. 4) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1 Check the transmission wiring loom (Speed sensor). If damaged, replace the transmission wiring harness. Check if the ,Speed sensor - Inner shaft and Speed sensor - Outer shaft connectors are properly connected and free from damage. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2 If DTC persists, replace the speed sensors. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 3 If DTC persists, replace TCU (flash the adaption data from the original TCU). Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 4 Remove oil filter and HCU and inspect for internal damage to the drivetrain. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. • Resistance Check
