P3115-01 BLDC actuation General error Overview: ISO Code P3115-01 Customer Symptom • BLDC/Drum motor deactivated, ( Stuck in current gear) • Transmission Fault Lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • BLDC/Drum motor deactivated, ( Stuck in current gear) • Transmission Fault Lamp ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission Fault Lamp ON (Service indication 0x1) Fault Detection Condition internal TCU error: bldc circuit defect or over temperature (FFT=500ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detected any fault related to BLDC actuation general error Probable Trouble Area 1. TCU temperature. 2. TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart Component Details: The BLDC motor is driving the shift “Drum” through a set of gears. By rotating the drum, the shift forks are synchronizing and engaging specific gear sets. BLDC controller supply voltage is regulated at 12V TCU. Connections are internal to TCU. Preliminary Checks: 1) Check for any visible damage BLDC controller to TCU. 2) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check freeze frame data [TCU temperature](issue can be triggered by over temperature. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2 If DTC persists, Check with different TCU (flash the adaption data from the original TCU) if the problem persists. if not, Replace TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. • Resistance Check ➢ Disconnect Transmission side 28 pole connector X-201 and check below resistance at (X-201) connector terminal
