P3133-71 Drain valve: EDS 5 (Line pressure): - 71: actuator stuck Overview: ISO Code P3133-71 Customer Symptom • Warning light on dashboard(Transmission Fault Lamp ON) Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Warning light on dashboard(Transmission Fault Lamp ON) Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission Fault Lamp ON (Service indication 0x2) Fault Detection Condition Line pressure valve stuck (FTT=500ms) Normal Operating Condition TCU does not detected any fault related to actuator stuck Probable Trouble Area 1. TCU EEPROM 2. oil level 3. drain oil and check for metallic particles in oil 4. oil is contaminated 5. gasket between HCU and clutch housing 6. HCU 7. TCU Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart if the detection is FALSE for more than 1000 ms Component Details: The Clutch actuator 1 & 2 mounted in hydraulic control unit and makes internal electrical contact with the TCU. • EDS 5 = Line pressure solenoid Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between EDS 5 solenoid and TCU. 2) Loose/ Damaged mechanical fitments of TCU (TCU to valve body mounting). 3) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Clear TCU EEPROM data and flash back the HCU adaptions and perform CPC adaptions (in case of permanent sticky valve). clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2. Check oil level, if oil level too low, fill untill correct level, Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 3. Oil level is fine, but DTC persists, drain oil and check for metallic particles in oil. <To be checked with example pictures of acceptable oil contamination> Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 4 4 If oil is contaminated, replace transmision with new oil and filter, and let the transmission run for some time (stationary, manual mode go trough gears) + repeat check of contamination clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 5 5 Repeat flushing max 2 times, if contamination remains, a component is generating polution; replace transmission clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 6
