U0301-00 Vehicle configuration mismatch Overview: ISO Code U0301-00 Customer Symptom • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- gearshift is disabled • Transmission Fault Lamp ON • Creeping function is disabled Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • Critical malfunction. Powertrain is opened. Power loss immediately triggered- gearshift is disbaled • Transmission Fault Lamp ON • Creeping function is disabled Lamp Status (If Any) • Transmission Fault Lamp ON (Service indication 0x1) Fault Detection Condition Customer ID, Project ID, Engine displacement mismatching with respect to the expected values, FFT = 0ms Normal Operating Condition Customer ID, Project ID, Engine displacement not mismatching with respect to the expected values with DCT TCU. Probable Trouble Area 1. TCU SW & TCU HW 2. SW flashed in ECU or TCU 3. TCU Healing Condition The reaction is cleared at SW restart if the detection is FALSE for more than 0 ms Component Details:- EMS ECU will send Customer ID, Project ID, Engine displacement CAN signals to DCT TCU and matching with respect to the expected values, Preliminary Checks:- Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check if the combination of TCU SW & TCU HW is valid. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back Go to step 2 2. If there is a new SW flashed in ECU or TCU: the SW on the newly flashed controller must be wrong (incompatibility between engine and transmission controller). Flash the correct SW of EMS ECU and DCT TCU. Flash the correct SW on ECU or TCU. Go to step 3 3. If issue persists, replace TCU Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back
