Update BCM ECU VIN & VC with following procedure a. Turn the IGN ON again and Unlock security to BCM ECU with the help of diagnostic tool. b. Read VIN & VC from BCM ECU (22 F1 90 & 22 72 35) and compare with VIN and VC from IC ECU. c. If VIN and VC mismatched then execute following step d and e to write correct VIN and VC into BCM ECU. d. Write correct VIN in BCM ECU (2E F1 90 XX XX . . . . . ) e. Write correct VC in BCM ECU (2E 72 35 XX XX . . . . . ) f. Read VIN & VC from BCM ECU (22 F1 90 & 22 72 35) and verify once again with IC ECU. 17. AES writing Procedure 17.1. AES writing Procedure in BCM: Note- “AES key writing in BCM is applicable for the trims wherever PEPS Enable is applicable” Generate AES_SK code (using tester tool) and write AES_SK code into BCM. Before writing check whether AES_SK is locked for writing or not, send service request $22 42 23 and read the response. If response is ‘01’ i.e. 62 44 1C 01 then unlocking of AES_SK is required before writing, else if response is ‘00’ i.e. 62 44 1C 00 then start writing AES_SK key immediately AES_SK Unlocking Procedure BCM: i. Send service request $ 31 01 34 0B ii. Check Start routine response of the routine 71 01 34 0B XX YY XX = RoutineStatusRecord, RoutineInformation, YY = Response additional data. iii.
