Transmission lamp ON on cluster Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition If the inter-message RX time period exceeds 500-ms the FDC counter shall automatically increment to 7F (127 decimal) and report test failed if no message is received Normal Operating Condition OFF/ACC/IGN/Crank/Run Probable Trouble Area CAN fault Healing Condition For FDC decrementation to occur the ECU shall monitor for 500-ms all received messages, Only when all messages are received within the configurable time (500-ms) shall the FDC counter decrement to 80 (-128 decimal).
