B1909 - 15:- Fuel Level Sensor Input Short To Battery or Open (Single Tank) Overview:- ISO Code B1909 - 15 Customer Symptom No fuel indication Fault Effects (On Vehicle) N/A Lamp Status (If Any) Low fuel warning Lamp shall be blink @2Hz Fault Detection Condition Fuel gauge bars shall turn Off, Low fuel warning lamp shall blink @2Hz Normal Operating Condition Fuel bars shall display w.r.to the input Resistance value. Probable Trouble Area Related wiring Harness, connector or terminals damaged. IPC connector wired wrong, Harness wire shorted, Sensor connector wired wrong, Sensor damaged. Healing Condition IC shall recover from open/short condition after receiving valid values for 20s or Ignition Off/On. Component Details:- Fuel Sensor - This sensor gives direct resistive input to the Cluster w.r.to the change in the fuel inside Tank. Refer below fuel gauge calibration table – TFT IPC. Fuel Level Table Applicable only for Nexon single Tank (44 Ltrs.)
