U0101-08:- Lost communication with TCM- TCM Message Timeout Failure Overview:- ISO Code U0101-08 Customer Symptom TCM Lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Gear info cannot be displayed Lamp Status (If Any) TCM Lamp ON Fault Detection Condition 1. TCM connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location 2. CAN Stub wire from TCM connector side is disconnected. 3. TCM ECU is not powered up. Normal Operating Condition TCM ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area Disconnection of the TCM connector Healing Condition To fix the TCM connector correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from TCM side. Trouble Shooting:- Start Read IVN DTCs in IPC If MTO logged against TCM in current state? No (In history) Check continuity between TCM CAN_H (52 pin connector pin no.45 ) to IPC CAN_H(pin no.6 ) and TCM CAN_L (52 pin connector pin no.33 ) to IPC CAN_L(pin no. 5) in vehicle wiring side connector. Is continuity there? Repair the wiring harness Clear DTC Stop Check Ignition (52 pin connector pin no.28), Battery (52 pin connector pin no.27) and Ground (52 pin connector pin no.1,2 ) of TCM is properly connected or not. Also check fuse blown (Battery fuse 15A and ignition fuse 10A) Do necessary repair in the harness Yes Yes No U0101-08 Loss of communication with TCM
