U0151-08:- Lost communication with Restraints Control Module (SRS) - Message Timeout Failure Overview:- ISO Code U0151-08 Customer Symptom SRS Lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No effect. Lamp Status (If Any) SRS Lamp ON Fault Detection Condition 1. SRS connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location 2. CAN Stub wire from SRS connector side is disconnected. 3. SRS ECU is not powered up. Normal Operating Condition SRS ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area Disconnection of the SRS connector Healing Condition To fix the SRS connector correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from SRS side. Trouble Shooting:- Start Read IVN DTCs in IPC If MTO logged against SRS in current state? No (In history) Check continuity between SRS CAN_H (Chamber A connector pin no.1 ) to IPC CAN_H(pin no.6 ) and SRS CAN_L (Chamber A connector pin no.2 ) to IPC CAN_L(pin no. 5) in vehicle wiring side connector. Is continuity there? Repair the wiring harness Clear DTC Stop Check Battery (Chamber A connector pin no.12) and Ground (Chamber A connector pin no.7 and 23 ) of SRS is properly connected or not. Also check fuse blown (Fuse 10A) Do necessary repair in the harness Yes Yes No U0151-08 Loss of communication with Restraints Control Module(SRS)
