CONTROLLED COPY FOR RESTRICTED CIRCULATION © TATA MOTORS LTD. 5. Nexon MCE2 (7 Inch TFT Cluster) IC Flashing Strategy when IC is functioning (Online) Following are the steps to Re-flash the IPC ECU. Step 1: Make the IGN ON. Note down the value of Odometer in IPC. Step 2: Please refer the “TML_Nexon_MCE2_TFT_Instrument Cluster_Software_Reflash_Spec” for Q5 Step 3: Flashing Check: Verify the Odometer Value in the IC. I.e. Odometer value shall be same as noted in Step 1. Also, check the Telltale configuration as per respective VCs. Step 4: DTCs Check (Using TDS Tool): Connect Diagnostics Tool (Samtec/Vconnect) to OBD connector in IGN ON. Finally Click on Clear all DTCs in Scanning Information Window for all ECUs. Perform the Power Latch for 30 sec. (IGN OFF for 30 sec & Turn ON IGN). Read DTC for all ECUs & take necessary action based on DTCs present in Vehicle. Note: 1. If IC Software is flashed on Existing IC on Vehicle then Do Not Perform the ECU Online Replacement using TDS Tool. 2. If IC is taken from Stock OR from Supplier & it is fitted on vehicle then first perform the ECU Online Replacement using TDS Tool & then go for the IC Software flashing. 3. For online replacement, do not update the Odometer value using DID. Please keep this option in write data tool tab only.
