Author: ERC Page: 204 of 301 B1F39-23:- Fresh Air / Recirc Request Button -Signal Stuck Low Overview:- ISO Code B1F39 – 23 Customer Symptom Fresh Air / Recirc Request Button Button cannot be manually selected Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The Fresh Air / Recirc switch is stuck and air inlet door is not changing it state. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition Fresh Air / Recirc Request Button -Signal Stuck Low Normal Operating Condition The Recirc request push button allows the user to manually choose the position of the air inlet door, as a manually selected two state function, the air inlet door will be either fresh air (Fresh) or in-cabin recirculation (Recirc). Probable Trouble Area Mode switch component failure. Healing Condition NA Component Details: Fresh Air / Recirc switch Button is shown in above image. The user shall be able to choose the position of the air inlet door by pressing Fresh Air / Recirc Request Button. Preliminary Checks: Switch On the IGN & perform the following check. 1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code 2) If the fault code exists, refer the corrective actions
