Normal Operating Condition PSCM should provide assist if steering wheel is steered after engine is cranked. Normal operating range: ECU will be awake from 6V to 24V. Full assistance is b/w 10V to 18V Low volt. reduced assistance is b/w 8.3V to 10V High volt. reduced assistance is b/w 18V to 24V Probable Trouble Area Fuse box Battery Supply line Alternator overcharging Healing Condition VBAT < 18V Component Details: NA Preliminary Checks: 1. Voltage at the battery terminals should be greater than 11.5V. 2. PSCM power supply connector should have greater than 10V for full assistance. 3. Check battery cable and PSCM connector terminals for damage. 4. Check PSCM ECU for pin bend/damage. 5. Alternator output voltage should be between 13.5 V to 14.5 V in engine running condition.
