Nexon MCE ESP DTC Troubleshooting data Document no: X01ME111219 Date: 11-Dec-19 C0037-62:- Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor- Signal Compare Failure Overview: ISO Code C0037-62 Customer Symptom Warning Light Displayed Fault Effects (On Vehicle) EBD – Availability depends on the fault type, ABS- Not available, ESP- Not available, HDC&HHC– Not available Lamp Status (If Any) ABS – ON, EBD – Depends on fault type, ESP – ON, HDCON, HHC-ON Fault Detection Condition WSS is not functioning as expected or Tire/Rim size is not matching to other wheels Normal Operating Condition ABS is functional in between 10 to 15V Probable Trouble Area  Tire/Rim size not matching to other wheels Worn or Missing teeth  Loose contact/intermittent short in the WSS line WSS dislodging from bracket / WSS not securely fastened Too much air gap Healing Condition Fault identification and rectification/ WSS replacement Component Details: Wheel Speed Sensor: A wheel speed sensor is part of the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). It is located on the tires. The job of the wheel speed sensor is to constantly monitor and report the rotational speed of each tire to the ABS control module. Preliminary Checks: Check Electrical connections. Check air gap. It should not be too much Check tooth wheel for wear and tear. Check WSSRL mounting.
