In case the TCM needs to be replaced, the customer KYC & e-SIM activation of new Telematics needs to be done prior to Replacement. 2. Please refer the “e-SIM_activation_&_Online_KYC_Process” document for step by step process. 3. Once the KYC is completed, the customer will receive SMS and mail notification on his registered mobile number and mail ID stating KYC is completed. 4. Once the SIM services are activated, the customer will receive SMS and mail notification on his registered mobile number and mail ID within 72 hrs. (Working hrs.) after KYC stating SIM data is activated. 5. Once customer confirms that SIM data is activated, Replacement procedure can be initiated. 6. Once the KYC is completed, SIM services are activated and the new Telematics Provisioning state is “Provisioned” after replacement procedure, the customer will be able to use the connected car services through his mobile App. 7. In case the problem persists, please call the Tata Motors Connected Car helpdesk and raise a ticket. Re-flashing the Telematics Control Module using FOTA 1. In case the TCM requires a software update or re-flashing, this can be done only through FOTA process. 2. The FOTA process is defined in separate FOTA flashing document and steps to be followed as prescribed in the document. 3. FOTA process requires co-ordination with Connected Car Tele-support (Tata Motors service Call Center). The service personnel are requested to contact them for support.
