WPCF ECU component and interface diagram Wireless Power Charging is a convenience feature to charge the electronic device like Smart phone, tablet using wireless charging technology, without a need to plugin wire in the device. Wireless charger shall use the principle of electromagnetic induction method to charge Smart phone wirelessly. The wireless power charger ECU supports following features: Charge “Qi” compatible smart phone using wireless protocol Detect foreign matter placed on rubber pad while charging and stops charging Generate PWM signal that is processed by the Instrument cluster to display the operating mode / state of the WPCF ECU on Head unit. Various operating modes of the WPCF ECU that are communicated are standby mode, charging mode, foreign object detected mode, charging completion mode and Error mode. 2.1. Components Below are the main components of the WPCF system: 1. WPCF (wireless power charger with Fan) ECU 2. Charging mat / Antiskid mat 1. WPCF ECU: Wireless Power Charger with Fan ECU contains upper housing, lower housing, FAN, fan duct cover and internal electronics as single unit for wireless charging function.
