U0164-31: Loss of communication with HVAC Control Module-Message Timeout Failure Overview: ISO Code U0164-31 Customer Symptom Vehicle will not function as per design intent Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle will not function as per design intent Lamp Status (If Any) Nil. Fault Detection Condition 1. HVAC Control Module connector is not connected properly or disconnected from its location. 2. CAN Stub wire from HVAC Control Module connector side is disconnected. 3. HVAC Control Module is not powered up. Normal Operating Condition HVAC Control Module communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area Disconnection of the HVAC connector Healing Condition To fix the HVAC Control Module correctly and Fix the wiring harness issues from HVAC Control Module side Trouble Shooting:-
