P0562-16: System Voltage Low-Circuit voltage below threshold Overview: ISO Code P0562-16 Customer Symptom No symptom observed to customer but power stage diagnosis will be disabled. Vehicle may not start. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No symptom observed to customer but power stage diagnosis will be disabled Lamp Status (If Any) Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ON after 1 drive cycle Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged if EMS ECU receives Battery voltage less than a calibrated threshold (6 Volts) Normal Operating Condition Healthy connections between Battery and EMS ECU, Healthy battery. Probable Trouble Area Wiring Harness Connections, Sulphated Terminals of Battery, Battery Absent, Alternator / Rectifiers faulty Healing Condition Engine Running, healthy battery condition and after 3 drive cycle of fault rectification Fault permanent deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU Power-Fail Component Details: Lead Acid Battery provides supply voltage to all vehicle electrical and electro mechanical components Preliminary Checks: 1. Loose or damaged connections between Battery and EMS ECU 2. Sulphated Battery terminals. 3. Battery not present 4. Alternator / Rectifiers faulty
