P22DB-12: CNG Gas-Injector 1 - electrical fault, short to supply voltage Overview: ISO Code P22DB-12 Customer Symptom Fuel Mode switchover from CNG to gasoline Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle will not able to drive in CNG mode Lamp Status (If Any) MIL ON after 1 drive cycle Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged when CNG Injector 1 (Pin no.224) short to Battery in any fuel mode Normal Operating Condition Healthy Wiring Harness connections between CNG Injector 1 and EMS ECU Probable Trouble Area Wiring Harness Connections, Injector, ECU. Healing Condition After 3 drive cycles Engine running in CNG Fuel Mode Fault permanent deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU power fail Component Details: Fuel Injectors are the actuators which control the fuel to be injected. The amount of fuel delivered by the fuel injector is determined electronically in accordance with the air flow in such a way as to minimize pollutants in the exhaust gas.
