P1607-12: CNG lamp max error Overview: ISO Code P1607-12 Customer Symptom CNG Facia switch Lamp will OFF irrespective of selected fuel mode Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No Symptoms observed Lamp Status (If Any) No Lamp Indication Fault Detection Condition This fault gets logged when Lamp pin no. 128 is shorted to Battery or Wiring Harness problem and vehicle is in CNG Fuel mode Normal Operating Condition Healthy Wiring Harness connections between CNG Lamp and EMS ECU Probable Trouble Area Wiring Harness Connections, Lamp switch, ECU Healing Condition After 1 drive cycles in CNG Fuel Mode fault is healed Fault present deletion 1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4.ECU flashing 5. ECU power fail Component Details: This lamp indicates selected fuel mode through fuel mode selector facia switch. This lamp will turn ON once the CNG fuel mode is selected. This lamp will remain OFF when you select petrol fuel mode. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for the proper connection of connector to the LED. 2. Check wiring harness 4. Change the lamp
