P1C05-81: Invalid Serial Data received from Transmission control unit-Torque Request and Torque Intervention Plausibility Check Overview: ISO Code P1C05- 81 Customer Symptom Poor Drivability or TCU functionality will not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Poor Drivability or TCU functionality Gear Shifting, Clutch Control may not work. Lamp Status (If Any) Nil Fault Detection Condition TCU functionality wont be working properly. Normal Operating Condition TCU functioning properly Probable Trouble Area DCT ECU, TCU Faulty Healing Condition Same Drive cycles if fault is rectified. Component Details: NA Preliminary Checks: CAN line connected to TCU. Trouble Shooting: - Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check CAN line Connections to TCU. Go to Step 2 Establish continuity by rectifying CAN connections as per the circuit schematic 2 Fault Still Persists? TCU Faulty Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation: After rectification, ensure the following points using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. a) DTC should not be in current state.
