Trouble Shooting: - DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points before handing over the system to the customer. a) Fuel level bars shall do the 4sec welcome strategy on display when ignition key is ON. b) Fuel bars shall be displayed w.r.to the input resistance given in calibration table. c) Check also in vehicle driving condition & check the FLS input change in Bars. YES NO YES NO Turn ON Ignition. Connect the TML Diagnostic Tool. Check the status of DTC’s (Memorized/Current) Record the DTC & Clear DTC’s Turn Ignition OFF & ON Verify If DTC B1948 -15 is present Is DTC B1948 -15 is Present? Check for continuity between Pin No.J1-1(Batt) & J1-11(FLS input) of ECU Connector or FLS is Open Circuited. Is STB or Open present? FLS input is Short Circuit to Ground. Rectify Fault at wiring Harness & wait for 20sec to recover the fault. Clear the DTC & In low-end variant vehicle check the function of Fuel Bars change on LCD display. & In high-end variant vehicle check the change in fuel level in Fuel bars. Clear the DTC from the ECU memory. Turn Ignition OFF & ON. In low-end variant vehicle check the function of Fuel Bars change on LCD display. & In high-end variant vehicle check the change in fuel level in Fuel bars. Stop Stop Stop
