U0028-88: Vehicle Communication Bus A - Bus off Overview: ISO Code U0028-88 Customer Symptom • In case of IVI variant -No visual indication • In case of CDC variant -EPAS lamp ON , CE Lamp ON,MIL Lamp ON,ABS Lamp ON,SRS Lamp ON, EBD Lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • In case of IVI variant -Interfacing functions with Body Control Module, HVAC Control Module and Instrument Panel Cluster Module will not work. • In case of CDC variant -No vehicle speed, engine speed, temperature gauge and fuel computer will not be available. Lamp Status (If Any) EPAS lamp ON , CE Lamp ON,MIL Lamp ON,ABS Lamp ON,TCM Lamp ON,SRS Lamp ON,EBD Lamp ON Fault Detection Condition 1. Short circuit between CAN_H -CAN_L, CAN_H - GND, CAN_L- Vbatt Normal Operating Condition ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool. Probable Trouble Area CAN_H and CAN_L wires Healing Condition 1. Removal of the above-mentioned shorts in the wiring harness at ECU pin. 2. Reconnecting CAN_H/ CAN_L/ both lines Trouble Shooting:-
