2. Using the same hexagonal wrench, turn the hexagon part on the floor inside the spindle (B) clockwise by 0.5-1 complete turn. 3. The parking brake is released. C. INSPECTION OF CALIPER Clean all parts thoroughly with fresh brake fluid. Please do not use mineral oil like kerosene, petrol, diesel etc. After thoroughly cleaning, examine all parts for damages and corrosion. 1. PISTON Outer surface should be free from nicks, score or rust and should feel smooth to touch. Do not use emery paper on piston surface. 2. SEAL PISTON Seal piston (9) is used to piston (12) and cylinder and used to adjust the clearance between pad and disc. Replace with a new seal piston at every overhaul.
