ON VEHICLE REMOVAL 17. A. BRAKE REMOVAL AND REFITMENT 1.FRONT CALIPER FROM CARRIER REMOVAL 1. Remove the wheel. 2. Remove Banjo bolt from inlet port. 3. Loosen and remove the Bolt- guide rod ‘A’ and Bolt- guide rod ‘B’ from carrier and remove the caliper from the carrier. 4. Place the caliper in a firm condition. NOTE Before removal of wheel please ensure 1. Ensure that Vehicle Battery is connected and the 46 pin IVBAC connector is connected to the IVBAC system. 2. Turn ON the vehicle ignition to “READY” state. 3. Plug in Tata Diagnostic Service (TDS) tool and activate “Assembly Mode” on IVBAC. 4. Turn Ignition OFF. 5. Use a pedal blocker to avoid draining of the Reservoir and the IVBAC. NOTE Ensure Brake Oil does not flow out by the use of hose clamp or other device. Remove Banjo bolt from inlet port, Loosen and remove the Bolt- guide rod ‘A’ and Bolt- guide rod ‘B’ and remove the caliper from the carrier. BRAKES 45
