B. FRONT BRAKE DISC REMOVAL 1. Position the vehicle on two-post lift and remove front wheel by removing wheel mounting nuts. 2. Remove brake caliper assembly & hang it properly with Brake Hose. 3. Release caliper assembly and tie aside clear off from brake disc. 4. Remove brake disc screws (02 nos.) securing brake disc to the hub. 5. Pull off the brake disc. INSPECTION Refer Maintenance, Adjustment and Test for Brake Disc inspection. INSTALLATION 1. Clean mating faces of hub and new brake disc. 2. Mount brake disc onto hub and tighten two screws to specified torque. 3. Install the caliper assembly to the steering knuckle and tighten two bolts to specified torque. 4. Fit the wheels and tighten wheel mounting nuts to specified torque. 5. After the end of the repair remove pedal blocker and follow the “IVBAC bleeding procedure”. 6. Deactivate “Assembly Mode”. 7. Adjust proper brake fluid level. NOTE Before removal of wheel please ensure 1. Ensure that Vehicle Battery is connected and the 46 pin IVBAC connector is connected to the IVBAC system. 2. Turn ON the vehicle ignition to “READY” state. 3. Plug in Tata Diagnostic Service (TDS) tool and activate “Assembly Mode” on IVBAC. 4. Turn Ignition OFF. 5. Use a pedal blocker to avoid draining of the Reservoir and the IVBAC. CAUTION Do not allow caliper to hang on brake hose as it may damage the hose. BRAKES 52
