Remove clevis pin to separate booster 16. assembly from brake pedal. Loosen and remove the mountings of I-VBAC 17. Unit and take out the I - VBAC Unit. Remove the gasket parts if existing from the 18. firewall by using the scraper of the service kit, without scratching the varnish. Take the new IVBAC out of its protective 19. packaging and make a visual inspection. Do not install it in the vehicle if it shows visible 20. damage. If the IVBAC is dropped from any height to any 21. hard surface, it is not allowed to be used any more. INSTALLATION 1. Make sure that the area between IVBAC and firewall is not contaminated. 2. Assure correct position of the IVBAC (e.g. reservoir upwards) 3. Install the IVBAC by placing the studs in the holes of the firewall (or spacer block) and manually pre-tighten the nuts one or two turns. 4. Mount and tighten the nuts of unit to specified torque. 5. Match clevis hole to the pedal lever hole and insert clevis pin into the hole. BRAKES 56
