For learning process please follow below steps. Execute the TPMS routine 4A01 in order to enter in manual learning mode. • Before starting the TPMS learning, drop down the spare tire so you will be able to take out air from it. • Respective Tire Sensor ID should be written in ECU using diagnostic tool. Do the following operation in the same sequence. Respective tire is triggered by reducing or increasing • tire pressure by 1.2 psi/sec. If you observe “flash hazard and two short horn beeps”, the system has successfully entered into learning mode and you can proceed for next steps. Go to front left (FL) tire and start removing / • increasing air from that tire by 1.2 psi/sec until hazard flashes and horn beeps once for short time. Stop removing the air and FL tire is learnt successfully. Go to front right (FR) tire and start / increasing • air from that tire by 1.2 psi/sec until hazard flashes and horn beeps once for short time. Stop removing the air and FR tire is learnt successfully. Go to rear right (RR) tire and start removing / • increasing air from that tire by 1.2 psi/sec until hazard flashes and horn beeps once for short time. Stop removing the air and RR tire is learnt successfully. Go to rear left (RL) tire and start removing / • increasing air from that tire by 1.2 psi/sec until hazard flashes and horn beeps once for short time. Stop removing the air and RL tire is learnt successfully. Go to spare tire (SP) and start removing / • increasing air from that tire by 1.2 psi/sec until hazard flashes and horn beeps twice. Stop removing air and Spare tire is learnt successfully. TPMS learning is completed successfully. • To exit from learning mode, turn the ignition • OFF. Fill all the tires to the OEM recommended pressure values. WARNING It is always necessary to follow the above sequence only for air removal from tires while learning. Failing to do so can wrongly learn the TPMS and the indications will be misleading. During learning, TPMS tell-tale and TPMS HMI display on your vehicle Instrument cluster will also show the learning status apart from hazard flashing and horn beeps. If TPMS has successfully entered into learning mode, TPMS tell-tale and tire alert symbol will glow continuously. The tire for which learning is being done will blink continuously and the tire for which learning is successfully completed will glow continuously. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) 6
