Customer Symptom
Right Turn Indicator Lamps always ON.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
1. Right Turn Indicator Lamp always ON.
2. Battery Drain.
Lamp Status (If Any)
Always ON
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged by BCM when Right Turn
Indicator lamp output is shorted to battery or open circuit
Normal Operating Condition
Turn Indicator lamp comes ON when turn indicator
switch is activated.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector Fault
2. Right Turn Indicator lamp output wire Short to
battery or open circuit
3. Right Turn Indicator Lamp bulb blown /lamp
damaged
4. BCM ECU fault
5. Right Turn Indicator lamp mating connector fault
Healing Condition
1. Ignition OFF

2. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
Right Turn Indicator lamps are located at right front, right rear and right side of the vehicle. Turn
Indicator lamp comes ON when turn indicator switch is activated.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above)
2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
Trouble Shooting:-
