Trouble Shooting:-
Start
Turn IGN OFF – ON and wait for 5 seconds
Clear DTCs from BCM ECU
x
Turn IGN OFF – ON and Start the
Engine.
x
Make sure engine is running with above
600 rpm.
x
Press Rear Defogger switch either on the
FACIA switch bank or on FATC control
panel.
x
Wait for 5 seconds.
Read DTCs from BCM ECU
Is B221E - 11 DTC
present
Yes
Connect the vehicle battery, BCM, and
components, if disconnected. Measure Battery
Voltage
Is battery voltage in
range (9V to 16V)
Yes
Stop
No
Charge the battery and/or replace battery
No
