B1928–11 :PACM Active LED Indicator - Short to Ground
Overview:

Customer Symptom
1. User cannot judge if Park assist is in ON or
OFF.
2. PDC active LED remains in OFF condition
even if park assist is active. However PDC
functions normally.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
LED will not be in ON condition when park assist
functionality is active.
Lamp Status (If Any)
No
Fault Detection Condition
1. User cannot judge if Park assist is in ON or
OFF.
2. PDC active LED remains in OFF condition
even if park assist is active. However PDC
functions normally.
3. This DTC gets logged when PDC activation
LED is short to ground or LED inside the
Switch failed.
Normal Operating Condition
1. When user presses PDC Activation switch,
Park assist gets activated with Active LED ON
and user can see park assist screen in Head
Unit.
2. When user presses PDC switch during park
assist is active, LED goes in OFF state.
Probable Trouble Area
x
Wiring harness between PDC ECU and
Fascia PDC Activation Switch.

LED indication on activation switch for PDC
functionality.
