Trouble Shooting:-
Step Checks
IF YES
IF NO
1.
Are any of faults – P0327-14, P0328-15
appears
Follow their respective rectification
procedure and rectify those faults
Go to Step 2
2
Is there wiring harness electrical
continuity between ECU pins237,238 &
Knock Sensor connector pins 1,2? Is
there any back out at knock Sensor
connector or EMS ECU connector pin
damaged?
Go to Step 3
Establish continuity
by rectifying
harness
connections as per
the Circuit
schematic.Replace
the connector if
found faulty.
3 Is Knock Sensor faulty?
Check the resistance between two leads
and it should be between
4 – 10 Mega
Ohms
. If found faulty then replace the
Knock Sensor
Go to step 4

Is EMS ECU connector and Knock
Sensor connector tight?
Go to step 5
Refit the connector
tightly

If fault still persists?
Replace the EMS ECU
Follow the above
procedure for
reconfirmation
DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before
handing over to customer.
Recheck the fault, fault shall not reappear.
