Trouble Shooting:-

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

Is there any rust/oxidization observed on Ignition Coil

Terminals

Clean the Rust or

repair or replace

Go to Step 2

Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between

ECUpins 254 and Ignition Coil B connector pin. Is there

continuity between Ignition coil B connector pin

and Main

relay supply.

Go to Step 3

Establish continuity

by rectifying

harness

connections as per

the Circuit

schematic

3. Are there any pins damaged at Ignition Coil B / EMS ECU

Connector

Replace the

connector or wiring

harness

Go to step 4

Are there any pins backed out from the Ignition Coil B /EMS

ECU Connector

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to Step 5

Is Sensor Signal Pin 254 Short Circuited to Battery ?

Repair the harness

as per the schematic Go to Step 6

Is Ignition Coil B / HT Cables physically Damaged

Replace HT Cables

or Ignition coil

Go to Step 7

Fault still persists?

Replace Ignition

Coil, If fault still

persists then replace

EMS ECU

Repeat the above

procedure for

reconfirmation.

DTC’s confirmation:-

Recheck the fault, fault shall not reappear.
