CONTROLLED COPY FOR RESTRICTED CIRCULATION © TATA MOTORS LTD. 13) Write the VIN. 14) Write variant specific configuration data to ESCL against PLM server. 15) Turn OFF the IGN by pressing start stop switch. 16) Turn ON the IGN by pressing start stop switch. 17) Clear all DTC (parallel request to all ECUs) 18) Execute ESCL Status Routine 19) Read the DTCs from ESCL ECU with the help of diagnostic tool. If any DTC is present follow the respective troubleshooting procedure to it. 20) Check the customer reported fault, whether it is rectified. 21) If the fault is rectified, disconnect the OBD connector and diagnostic tool. 2.3. If ESCL is replaced 1) Dealer order the new ESCL from SPD & receives the same. 2) Replace old ESCL ECU with new ESCL ECU (Refer section 2.2 “ECU replacement procedure”). 3) Ensure that all the wiring harness and removed brackets are screwed tightly as of original conditions (i.e. before unscrew the brackets). 4) Return vehicle back to customer.
