P30A3 - 19 :- BMS charging current overload third level alarm - circuit current above threshold Overview: ISO Code P30A3 - 19 Customer Symptom Charging will not happen Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Charging cutoff Lamp Status (If Any) HV Fault on cluster Fault occurrence scenario (In the order of probability) At the time of Charging Normal Operating Condition No Fault Probable Trouble Area Issue in charger Current sensor issue Loss of VCU to charger communication Loss of VCU to BMS communication Software bug in VCU Healing Condition NA System Details: Battery current is measured by the BMS and the value is populated in diagnostics through DID parameter 3401. Preliminary Checks: 1) Ensure the vehicle is parked. 2) Ensure there is no fault from charger side. Inspection Method: Connect the tool and communicate to the battery pack as instructed through APPENDIX-C Read DTC information of DTC ID – P30A3 - 19 Rectification Action: 1) If DTC is appearing in real time, clear DTC information through service tool 2) If DTC is not appearing in real-time but has only occurred before, store the snapshot data. 3) Clear the DTC information on the respective DTC ID. DTC’s confirmation: After clearing, ensure the following points by referring to BMS DTC list. 1) Read DTC ID – P30A3 - 19for the existence of DTC information. 2) If DTC still exists, reflash the battery pack using the service tool with the latest release SW available in PLM database. 3) Read DTC ID – P30A3 - 19for the existence of DTC information post flashing. 4) If DTC still exists, the HV battery pack component has to be replaced as instructed by the respective ECU replacement guide Component Location & Image;Connector Location; Connector View & Information: - APPENDIX-A
