P30A4 - 98 :- BMS PCB high temperature Overview: ISO Code P30A4 - 98 Customer Symptom NA Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No effect on vehicle Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault occurrence scenario (In the order of probability) Charging scenarios Normal Operating Condition No fault Probable Trouble Area BMS hardware and software Healing Condition Auto clean when PCB temperature is under limits System Details: BMS perfrom the balancing by dissipating the heat through balancing resistor. Which may lead to PCB high temperature. Preliminary Checks: 1) No issue in BMS hardware. Inspection Method: Connect the tool and communicate to the battery pack as instructed through APPENDIX-C Read DTC information of DTC ID – P30A4 - 98 Rectification Action: 1) If DTC is appearing in real time, clear DTC information through service tool 2) If DTC is not appearing in real-time but has only occurred before, store the snapshot data. store the snapshot data. 3) Clear the DTC information on the respective DTC ID. DTC’s confirmation: After clearing, ensure the following points by referring to BMS DTC list. 1) Read DTC ID – P30A4 - 98 for the existence of DTC information. 2) If DTC still exists, reflash the battery pack using the service tool with the latest release SW available in PLM database. 3) Read DTC ID – P30A4 - 98 or the existence of DTC information post flashing. 4) If DTC still exists, the HV battery pack component has to be replaced as instructed by the respective ECU replacement guide Component Location & Image;Connector Location; Connector View & Information: - APPENDIX-A
