Check whether there is short in sensor inputs pin and sensor’s supply pin on harness side. Check if there is continuity between accelerator pedal sensor’s input pin 4 (Connector C295 Pin-4) and accelerator pedal sensor’s supply pin 2 (Connector C295 Pin-2). (Refer pin diagram) Problem is in the harness Action: Repair the harness and Go to step 1. Go to Step 7. 7. After rectification, connect all the inline connectors between VCU and sensor and check for end to end continuity. Check if there is a continuity between VCU connector C776A Pin 26 and the accelerator pedal sensor’s input pin 4. Connection is okay Go to step 8 Check for harness damage. 8. Check and ensure the LV battery connections. Switch vehicle to ignition ON mode Check for the fault code using TML diagnostic tool. If P3003 -12 is present? Go back to step 2 Repair complete DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points by referring to VCU DID list using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. Vehicle should be in Ignition ON Mode. CAUTION: Ensure vehicle is not in crank state and gear selector is in Neutral position only while accelerator pedal check. 1. Ensure that accelerator pedal is not pressed 2. Read Parameter 342E (Accelerator pedal sensor 1 position) to confirm that value is greater than or equal to 0.5V. 3. Completely press the accelerator pedal and hold. 4. Read Parameter 342E (Accelerator pedal sensor 1 position) to confirm that value is less than or equal to 4.7V. 5. Repeat the process from point 1 to 4 again and then release the pedal.
