HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is seen blinking on cluster. Charging will be disabled. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle will not be driveable. Air conditioning and charging will be disabled. Vehicle will not be allowed to crank in the next Ignition cycle if the fault is active state or present in VECU memory. Lamp Status (If Any) HV critical error indication blinking on Cluster Fault Detection Condition When DC Fast charging contactor weld is detected Normal Operating Condition During normal operating condition during DC fast charging VCU enables these contactors. So that supply from outside charging station get connected with HV battery. Probable Trouble Area PDU HV connector Inside PDU Healing Condition NA Component Details: DC fast charging has 2 contactors inside PDU on both positive and negative busbars. VCU enables these contactors during normal operating condition. When fast charging gun is connected to inlet VCU will enable these contactors based on vehicle charge and health condition. Preliminary Checks: • Check for High voltage between DC positive and negative terminal of charging socket. • Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and PDU LV connector • Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and PDU LV connector • Check for CCS2 charging cable which connects to PDU. • Visually inspect PDU for damage
