P302F - 13: - PTC Contactor Low Side activation line - circuit open Overview: ISO Code P302F- 13 Customer Symptom HV Critical Alert Tell-tale is glowing on the cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) The vehicle is drivable as per driver inputs. No effect on vehicle drive ability. PTC does not operate. Passenger compartment heating not possible. Lamp Status (If Any) HV critical lamp ON – cluster Fault Detection Condition PTC contactor doesn’t close even when VCU provides ground to PTC contactor coil for activation Open circuit of PTC Contactor Low Side activation line Normal Operating Condition VCU operates PTC contactor to close and open as per heating demand from vehicle/driver Probable Trouble Area LV wiring Harness 3 in 1 combo-PDU LV connector Inside 3 in 1 combo-PDU Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory. However, cluster indication will be ON till one drive cycle of vehicle, until DTC is cleared using tester tool. Component Details: VCU operates PTC contactor to close and open as per heating demand from vehicle/driver. PTC is used for heating of passenger compartment Preliminary Checks: 1.
