Connect the service tool and read VECU parameter Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM duty cycle value Check if Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM duty cycle value is 0 Short to ground is present in the HVIL circuit Go to step 2 2. Connect the service tool and read VECU parameter Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM duty cycle value Check if the VECU parameter Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM duty cycle value is 100 and PDU HVIL Sense PWM duty cycle value is 50 Short to battery present in the HVIL circuit other than 3in1 Short to battery present in the HVIL circuit Go to step 3 3. Remove VCU side and HV battery side LV connectors Check if there is continuity between C776B-6 and C435A-E of the connector. No problem in the wiring between the HV battery LV connector and VCU connector. Go to Step 4 Problem is in HV battery to VCU wiring harness Action: Change HV battery to VCU inline wiring harness 4. If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between consecutive connectors No problem in the inline connectors Problem may be in VCU sensing circuit Go to step 5 Problem is in inline connectors Action: Change inline connectors which have problem 5. Remove HV battery side LV connector. MSD should be connected(High voltage connector should be properly Check for continuity between C435A-E and C435A-F of HV battery (on HV battery side LV connector) No problem in HVIL wiring of HV battery Go to Step 6 HV battery inside HVIL is broken, internal wiring issue.
