Visually inspect cruise switch for damage Trouble Shooting: - Step No. Description Check point If yes If No 11. Remove the LV battery connections. Remove the VECU LV connectors Check for backout of A60, A29 pins Replace the VECU LV connectors Go to step 2 12. Remove the Cruise switch LV connector Check for backout of cruise switch pins Replace the Cruise connector Go to step 3 13. Connect all the inline connectors between VCU and switch and check for end-to-end continuity in cruise switch harness Check if there is a continuity between 1. VCU connector C776B Pin 60 and the cruise switch + (Connector C182A- pin 4) 2. VCU connector C776B Pin 29 and the cruise switch - (Connector C182A- pin 3) Connection is okay Go to step 4 Check for harness damage 14. Check for the internal resistance of cruise switch Check for resistance (408 +/- 5% ohm) between cruise pins If resistance is not the threshold value, (408 +/- 5% ohm) Problem is with cruise switch Action: Replace the cruise switch Go to step5 15. Reconnect all the VECU LV connectors and cruise connectors. Reconnect the LV battery, switch ON Ignition Check the VECU parameter for cruise switch after connecting all harness and cruise switch NOTE: Short circuit at VECU pin Problem with VECU Action: Replace VECU End
