Remove the VCU and cruise connectors. Connect all the inline connectors between VCU and switch and check for end-to-end continuity in cruise switch harness Check if there is a continuity between 1. VCU connector C776B Pin 60 and the cruise switch + (Connector C182A- pin 4) 2. VCU connector C776B Pin 29 and the cruise switch - (Connector C182A- pin 3) Connection is okay Go to step 2 Check for harness damage and replace the harness 2. Check the short to ground at cruise switch Check if the resistance value is zero between cruise switch + and cruise switch - Problem is with cruise switch Action: Replace cruise switch Go to step 3 3. Check for the short at VECU pin side Check the voltage between A60 pin to A29 pin, if it is zero NOTE: VECU Parameter- cruise control switch analog input count value will be around 173 +/- 5 when all connections are okay. Check if VECU parameter cruise control switch analog input count value is around 0? Short circuit to GND at VECU pin Problem with VECU pin Action: Replace VECU End DTC’s confirmation: -
