P30B8 - 16: AC Linear Pressure Sensor value input to VECU - circuit voltage below threshold Overview: ISO Code P30B8 - 16 Customer Symptom Vehicle is operable and cabin Air conditioning will not work Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Vehicle is operable and cabin Air conditioning works normally Lamp Status (If Any) Service lamp ON Fault Detection Condition Vehicle controller detected the AC Linear pressure sensor value input to VECU is lesser than lower threshold value Normal Operating Condition AC Linear pressure sensor value is within the operating range i.e., 0.38V to 4.6 V Probable Trouble Area AC Linear pressure sensor LV wiring Harness Powertrain VCU connector – AC Linear pressure analog input Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: AC Linear pressure sensor is used to measure the pressure value of AC discharge pressure line Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and AC Linear pressure sensor 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and AC Linear pressure sensor 3. Visually inspect AC Linear pressure sensor for damage Note: Please follow standard guideline and check list for AC gas filling or troubleshooting related to gas quantity Trouble Shooting: - Check for the VECU parameter value of AC Linear pressure sensor as per below table
