Is value is less than 0.389 and greater than zero – then go to table 2 DID Number VECU Parameter Name Value seen in VCU parameter Table 3445 AC Linear pressure sensor 0 1 3445 AC Linear pressure sensor Value greater than zero and less than 0.389V 2 Table 1: If AC Linear pressure sensor value is 0– Suspected error is because of Short to ground Step No. Description Check point If yes If No 1. Switch Vehicle to Ignition ON Mode Check for the fault code using TML diagnostic tool. If P30B8 -16 is present? Go to Step 2 Check if any other fault related to P30B8 is present 2. Check for the power supply of AC Linear pressure sensor Check if AC Linear pressure sensor pin 1 (Connector C699A- pin 1) has supply voltage 5V and Pin 3 (Connector C699A- pin 3) is ground. Go to Step 3 Check for the harness damage 3. Switch Ignition OFF. Check whether there is internal short in sensor Check if there is continuity between AC Linear pressure sensor’s input pin 2 and AC Linear pressure sensor’s Ground pin 3. (Refer pin diagram), that means short to ground happened Problem is in the AC Linear pressure sensor. Action: Replace the sensor and go to step 1. Go to Step 5 4. Remove the LV connector of AC Linear pressure sensor side i.e., C699A (Refer schematic for details) and C776B Check the connectivity between C699A-2 (analog output) to C699A-3(GND) Check the connectivity between C776B - 63 to C776B – 77 Problem is with wiring harness between VECU and sensor Go to Step 6
