Remove the LV battery connections. Remove the VECU LV connectors Check for backout of K49 pin Replace the VECU LV connectors Go to step 2 2. Remove the vehicle inlet LV connector Check for backout of vehicle inlet pins Replace the vehicle inlet connector Go to step 3 3. Connect all the inline connectors between VCU and vehicle inlet and check for end-toend continuity in harness Check if there is a continuity between 1. VCU connector C776A Pin 49 and the vehicle inlet temperature sense line (Connector C448A- pin 11) 2. VCU connector C776A Pin 13 and the vehicle inlet temperature sense line - ground (Connector C448A- pin 12) Connection is okay Go to step 4 Check for harness damage 4. Check for the sensor failure Check the ambient temperature and measure thermistor resistance between sensor pins using multimeter. Map the thermistor resistance of the sensor with the table given below If thermistor resistance is not the threshold value, Problem is with sensor Action: Replace the sensor Go to step5 5. Reconnect all the VECU LV connectors and vehicle inlet connectors. Reconnect the LV battery, switch ON Ignition Check if VCU parameter AC Inlet Neutral line Temp Sensor Count Value is 255 NOTE: Default value of AC Inlet Neutral Short circuit at VECU pin Problem with VECU Action: Replace VECU End
